Course Fees & General Information Our AHA courses are ‘blended learning’ for Health Care Providers. Participant must complete BOTH of the following to be eligible to receive course card:
| 1. | AHA’s ‘Heartcode BLS’ online pre-requisite elearning
>MUST be completed prior to attending BLS Skills Session >Click on link for website instructions: Heartcode BLS rev 2024 >This is a separate vendor $36.00 (at time of posting) – no employee discount for this portion. Must be started within 6 months of skills session. Highly suggested that you complete at least 1 week prior to skills session – online site may be down for maintenance and/or other issues. | 2. | BLS Skills Session – Tickets available for purchase on this web site at end of this section.
>Employees ($22.00) VCMC/SPH & Ventura County Health Care Agency employees – if you have not already created account for ‘Nursing Ed’ web site be sure to click on ‘VCMC/SPH’ user ID to receive discount, we are unable to refund difference after payment made. If account already created and unsure, call Nursing Ed (805-652-6045) and ask staff to verify BEFORE you pay for course. >Non-employees ($35.00) Additional information: >Registration closes 48 hours prior to ‘skills session’ date or sooner if session fills. >Before registering/paying for skills session confirm you do not have schedule conflict. There is a 20% surcharge for refund request if you are unable to attend. Alternate option, we can forward your registration to next available class if your cert is not due to expire before next course.
