This one-day, instructor led course is designed for Perinatal clinicians who have completed the AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced course, a comparable fetal monitoring education program and/or who hold certifications or added credentials in fetal heart monitoring.
This course expands on the knowledge and physiological principals presented in the AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Course. Using a case study approach to focusing on the analysis of maternal-fetal physiology related to complex clinical information and fetal heart rate tracings. The course emphasizes the physiology of fetal-maternal oxygenation, interpretation of tracings, the selection of clinical interventions, and perinatal risk-management principles.

Participants will be provided 7 contact hours after completion of the course eval, an optional integration test is available. (0.75 hours of pharmacology credits available).
